2. Work out the best time for a holiday - winter, autumn, spring or summer.

3. Make the stay 2 weeks. Look at the apartments for rent and compare them to the hotels - which is the better option?

4. How much would a holiday that you have selected cost?

5. Plan at least 4 places your family would like to visit: eg. Great Barrier Reef; Daintree River; by going to the top 40 things to do in Port Douglas.

Travel Agent - A Play

1. As a group of 3 - 4 students, you are go to the Early Learning HQ - for the Travel Agency. All these activities are based around Early Childhood Learning and include posters and other resources. Exam these resources closely.

2. You are to select and use these resources to develop a play based on the job: "Travel Agent" for students in Years 1 - 2. The play is to show the students exactly what it is like to be a Travel Agent and to travel overseas to a place other than Australia.

3. Video tape this play and submit it to On the Job.
