1. You are to convert the old game of Snakes and Ladders into a new and exciting game based on the knowledge of Australian snakes. The game will still have die and played by two people but with a difference - you also need to know a lot about Australian snakes!

2. Create your own Snakes and Ladders grid with 100 squares [10 x 10].

Look at the following examples to get an idea of the number of Snakes and Ladders usually put onto the game. Be as creative as possible with your drawings of your snakes (eg. you might like to make them all look like Australian snakes!) As you can see from the following examples there are differences in the number and size of both the snakes and ladders. It is up to you to create your own unique game.

3. Rules: Each person throws two die to advance along the board but....

You can avoid slipping down the snake if you know the answer to one question about Australian snakes and you can go up the ladder if you know the answer to two questions about Australian snakes. Otherwise you are to stay where you are until the next throw and a new lot of questions if you are at the bottom of a ladder but you will slip down the snake if you don't know the answer to the snake question.
