2. List all the facts that you both want to use to educate younger students about Australia's ancient trees. 3. Select the character in Voki that you think these younger students would enjoy. 4. Create a script for one of you to read out loud into Voki. Make sure the script is educational. 5. The other partner is to create music or sounds to go with the script. 6. Present your Voki to the class and then if good enough, ask for it to be shown in an assembly.
7. Reflection.
What did you learn during this project? How well did you work with your partner? Who did most of the work? Why? What did you learn about yourself during this project - your creativity? your knowledge base? your presentation skills? your cooperation with your partner?

1. In groups of 4 - 5 students, you are to read the following articles
2. Divide the group up into the following stances: [self select which stance you would like to undertake or flip a coin!]
3. Re-read the articles to gain evidence of your stance. You are to take on this role seriously as if you were responsible for all the farmers, or environmentalists etc. 4. All the stances/roles get together in the classroom and discuss their responses to the big question. Eg. All the farmer 1s form a group to discuss; all the Indigenous Elders get together etc.
4. Back in your original group and armed with the responses from your role, remain in your role /stance and discuss the following big question: "Should farmers be able to cut down trees on their property regardless......?"
