How to make Choc Balls (for Christmas or Easter!) - no cooking required Primary Middle Australian Curriculum General Capability: Numeracy
1. Chocolate balls require the following ingredients:
2. Method a. Crush the biscuits until they are like fine breadcrumbs and put into a large bowl b. Add coconut, cocoa powder and condensed milk into the bowl and stir in until fully mixed. Use a spatula to mix - not your hands as you will find you will lose a lot of the ingredients on your hands! c. Prepare two separate bowls - one for water and one for coconut. Also have your flat tray ready to put your balls onto. d. Wet your hands and then take one tablespoon of the mixture and roll into balls. Toss in the coconut and place onto the tray. e. Place into the fridge for 20 - 40 minutes to harden. You can also put into the freezer. f. Prepare the bowl or box to place the chocolate balls into to create a Christmas or Easter present. Use cellophane and ribbon to showoff your beautiful balls.

Thinkers. The Thinkers are to create at least 3 thinking tasks. These tasks should have an ethical slant to them. As a group, come together for the last 10 minutes of each lesson to discuss what you have learnt and what is to be done next. At the beginning of each lesson, divide up the ideas and either research or create around these ideas. 4. You might consider re-looking at the Conclusion and ask the students do to promote Fair Trade products in the school canteen and within their homes. 5. Reflection.
