Re-doing a Retro Pattern Middle Secondary Australian Curriculum General Capability: Numeracy Australian Curriculum General Capability: Critical and creative thinking Australian Curriculum General Capability: Personal and social capability
1. Each garment that you buy has been designed using a pattern. You are to select an old Retro garment or buy one from the Op shop that you would like this design to wear.
2. Look at the following videos to know how a pattern is created.

3. Carefully, unpick each section of the garment remembering to write down on each piece, where it fits on the whole as shown in the videos. 4. Select a new piece of fabric. Cut out the fabric according to the old template. 5. Sew to create your new garment. OR For a simpler design, look at the following video:
