1. There are over 1200 jobs on the website “On the Job” but very few have engaging and educational apps in the Activities section.

It is time this situation was changed! We need your help to discover apps that are: suitable, educational and above all engaging and fun, so they can be included on the website.

2. Go to the website's Information Desk

In pairs, select one category from the 12 categories listed (the ones below the Info Desk and "Florence" - the Information Assistant  - starting with "Houses & Buildings" ; and, ending with "Government & Defence") that you might be interested in. Explore.

3. Go to the jobs listed (Table below) their Activities and the apps included. Write up – is the app appropriate for this job? Can you find or know a better app?

1. We are surrounded by apps in our everyday life - lots of apps. Individually, you are to convince the class that you have discovered the:

a. the most useful app

b. the app that is the most fun

c. the app that helps most for school

d. the app that you use each day

e. other? Describe in detail.

2. In groups of 4 - 5 students, you are to present your particular app. You are to create a convincing argument and persuade the rest of your group, that your app is the "best"!

3. Each group, after they have decided on their group's "best" app, is to help the presenter to make their argument even more persuasive as it will be a battle of the class groups.
