1. Look at the following site (What's That Noise) which has a whole lot of mystery sounds as mp3s. 2. Collect a range of sounds (easy to hard) from around your house or district. Record them using one of the following Recording Apps
3. In Class. Get the other class members to identify the sound. The first person to identify the sound has to describe it (eg. raspy, crunching, whining). 4. They then select a sound of their own and repeat the process. However, the next lot of students describing the sound are not allowed to repeat the adjective to describe the noise - no repeat of adjectives.
1. In groups of 4 - 5 students, read the following
articles and write down the data presented. Write down 3 interesting
facts and share with your group.
2. Analyse the articles by sharing with each other the interesting facts and develop a list of 7 - 10 facts. Answer the following questions:
a. How can exposure to music and loud noise
affect hearing? And, as a group, discuss your answers.

4. As a group, you are to create a poster or infographic to be displayed around the school letting other students know about hearing and what you found interesting from the articles.
