1. In groups of 4 - 5 students, read the following article from The Conversation 3 October 2019

2. What video games have taken tradition music and use it? List them. What did you discover that you found interesting?

3. Individually, list all the video games that you find interesting or that you play a lot.

Select a video game that you all enjoy playing. Using different types of tradition music compose a new composition for this game.

4. Combine with another group. Play all your groups' compositions and guage their reactions. How could your composition be improved?

Optional Extra

You have been given a video assessment in one of your classes. You are to create a piece of music to be played in the background and don't forget to show your teacher that you created this piece especially for their assignment.
